 Unity Tutorial 06

For this week we had to continue on with the 2d tutorials from unity that being rubies adventure. The first part was adding and customising UI to the game in the form of visuals. This included adding a visual health bar which would decrease once the player had lost and increase when the player had gained health. To make this more visually pleasing we also added imagery of ruby and shaping to it.

For the second part of this tutorial we added another character and through a mix of ray casting and colliders creating the option for ruby to go up to said character, the game will notice that ruby is in front or beside the said character she will then have the option to talk to them and a dialogue box and options will appear. 

I think this section of the tutorial will be really helpful for me if I was to go down the line of creating either the platforming game, endless or runner or open adventure game in the sense for all of these in some way I can include the health bar UI with imagery of the character for example or some sort of dialogue option and the start or end of the game.
